• Defictionalization: Some fans danced an actual Dark Morris (sans magic) for Pterry at a Chicago bookshop, which he described in this novel's 'Author's Note' as beautifully done, but a bit creepy. Although this actually happened quite a while before this book was written, as the Dark Morris was first mentioned in Reaper Man years before it was given focus.
