Trivia / Winnie the Pooh: Sing a Song with Pooh Bear

Go To

  • Kids' Meal Toy: In 1999, McDonald's released a set of plush clip-ons in their Happy Meals. In Australia, this set was used to promote The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh instead.
  • The Other Darrin:
    • This is notably the first time Nikita Hopkins did the voice of Roo.
    • Tress MacNeille voices Kanga for this video and Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving after Patricia Parris had played her in The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
    • This is also the first project where Jim Cummings takes on the role of Tigger full time, although archival recordings of Paul Winchell are still used for songs.
    • Due to being a relatively smaller scale Pooh project, Piglet and Eeyore are voiced by Steve Schatzberg and Gregg Berger respectively instead of their normal VAs at the time, John Fiedler and Peter Cullen. Schatzberg had previously done Piglet's singing voice in a few projects.
    • However, the songs from older films still use the audio of their original VAs rather than the new ones, including Sterling Holloway, Paul Winchell, and Junius Matthews.
  • Serendipity Writes the Plot: Most of the special is made out of Stock Footage from the original film and New Adventures clips. The exception to this is "The Kanga Roo Hop" (Kanga and Roo's song) and "My Song" (performed by the whole group) which both fully use newly animated footage. Since Kanga and Roo were Out of Focus up till this point in the Disney projects, thus also downplaying the moments they are together with the rest of the cast, it would be hard to compile a clip show music video for either.
