Continuity Snarl: Luigifan18 operates the roleplays as a sequel to Furry Fiasco, a roleplay that he used to run on the GameFAQs boards (specifically Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Sargon 1998). As a result, his interpretations of several of the characters are slightly different from pommyman's. Luigifan also treats his characters as aging in real time, while pommyman's characters age according to the plot. They usually make it work, but there are times when things get very... awkward.note Most notably, according to Luigifan, Galaxina is alive and in a relationship with Mighty the Armadillo, and Cosmo is in a relationship with Ray the Flying Squirrel. The comic itself (which is solely operated by pommyman) puts Miles "Tails" Prower in the position of Cosmo's Love Interest, as he is in Sonic X. Depending on the roleplay, Cosmo and Galaxina may be operated by Luigifan or pommyman (or they may be divided between the two), resulting in slightly inconsistent characterization. Things get even crazier after the time skip, as Luigifan's characters are treated as being 15 years later (as of this writing in 2014) while pommyman's characters are treated as being 23 years later (from 2008). This results in some very weird relationships, especially concerning Ophelia who is born after an eight year time skip but is also eight herself. Thankfully, while the roleplays are all canon with respect to each other, they are (with the exception of being the manual) not canon to the comic itself, which makes it easy to completely avoid the weirdness.
Parts of the comic are also incomplete; both the prologue (which tells how Matt became a Guardian angel) and the time skip part of the series are still in progress. This is due to the cartoonist's overblown laziness and preference of gags.
