• Blooper: In "Let's Go to the Zoo", right at the end of the wrestling sketch, one of the audience dogs comes loose from its mount and gets yanked out of its seat just as the transition to the next scene begins.
• Cross-Dressing Voices: Afghanna and Bernice were performed respectively by Thom Fountain and James Murray.
• Prop Recycling: There were several instances of the main cast puppets being reused for one-off characters, such as Bernice being used for the vet in "Is There A Dog-tor in the House?", Billy being used for a police dog in "Let's Go to the Zoo", Don being reused for Elkhound Pupsley in "Singin' and Dancin' and Waggin' Our Tails" and Toby being used for his own uncle in "Meet Toby Terrier".
