- Creator Breakdown: A Deeper Kind of Slumber happened at one of the lowest points in Edlund's life; The same week he started working on the album, he broke up with his longtime girlfriend, fired his bassist, and got deep back into drugs. As a result, it's thematically one of the more personal and darkest albums he's written, that thankfully helped him get out of his funk.
- Old Shame: The band's first name - Treblinka.
- Johan Edlund felt this way about Clouds, saying that the final product didn't match what he was going for. This led to him firing the rest of the members two years after and going into a Genre Shift for the following album, Wildhoney, and the band would rarely play songs from Clouds live again until many years later. He has softened a bit on it since.
