- Schedule Slip: The miniseries, as well as the final issues for Lost Light and Optimus Prime, jumped around constantly and often had their release dates pushed backed on short notice. Unicron and the other Transformers comics of the original IDW continuity was originally scheduled to end in September 2018 but is now the final issues are currently scheduled for the end of October 2018.
- Torch the Franchise and Run: Pretty much the reason this story exists is to close out the Hasbro Comic Universe and clear the board for Transformers (2019).
