- Awesome, Dear Boy: By all accounts, Ray Milland had a blast making The Thing With Two Heads, finding it a much more enjoyable experience than Frogs, which he found so dire that he stormed off the set. Milland said that "the damned thing's entertaining" after seeing a rough cut, and wound up attending a theatrical screening where he felt gratified to see audiences laughing their heads off at it. Milland even did a promotional tour for the movie, appearing on The Tonight Show to show off his plaster head to Johnny Carson!
