• Acting for Two: "The Irony of It All" is an argument between aggressive drunkard Terry and intellectual stoner Tim, with Mike himself performing both roles.
• Cut Song: The B-Side "Soaked By The Ale" was originally supposed to part of A Grand Don't Come For Free, placed between "Fit But You Know It" and "Such A Twat". The latter includes an Orphaned Reference to Mike Skinner drunkenly trying to shoplift ice cream, an event that occurred in "Soaked By The Ale".
• What Could Have Been: Chris Martin originally sang the chorus of "Dry Your Eyes", but he wasn't happy with his performance, so he asked that it be left off the officially released version - Mike Skinner ended up singing that part himself. The Chris Martin version was leaked and received some unauthorized radio airplay.
