Trivia / The Sneetches and Other Stories

• Acting for Two: Hans Conried narrates and voices both the North and South-Going Zax in The Zax's Animated Adaptation.
• Edited for Syndication: Syndicated airings and VHS tapes of the Animated Adaptation remove the second half of the Star-Off Machine sequence in The Sneetches, as well as the first half of the sequence of the passage of time in The Zax. The full version made it onto all of the DVD releases, except for Universal's 2003 disc (labeled Green Eggs and Ham and Other Favorites on the case, and usurped in 2005 by the Seuss Celebration DVD).
• Non-Singing Voice: The Sneetches are voiced by the main voice actor cast for this special (mostly Bob Holt and Paul Winchell), but only when they speak. When the Sneetches sing, they are voiced by a professional mixed chorus (the same chorus heard in many other 70s Dr. Seuss specials, no less!)
