Trivia / The Simpsons S12 E3: "Insane Clown Poppy"

• Cast the Runner-Up: The producers originally wanted Drew Barrymore to play Becky in "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Marge", but plans got shuffled and she ended up guesting in "Insane Clown Poppy" instead, leaving Parker Posey to play Becky.
• First Appearance: Of Sophie. Also of Johnny Tightlips and Frankie the Squealer, two recurring members of the Springfield Mafia whose personalities are exactly what you'd expect from those names.
• What Could Have Been:
  • The original plot dealt with Homer finding out he had a daughter with another woman (before he met Marge) out of wedlock. Al Jean didn't like this idea and they decided to make it Krusty's daughter instead.
  • Christopher Walken agreed to voice himself but wanted more money than FOX was willing to pay, so he was replaced by Jay Mohr doing an impression of Walken.
