- In Memoriam: The story summary in AO3 has the authors mention that the story is written as a tribute to the deceased Billy Kametz, Takuto Maruki's English dub voice actor. Word of God also stated that originally, Maruki wasn't going to appear at all in the story, but changed their mind after learning of his English VA's passing, giving Maruki a cameo in Chapter Eleven.
