• Technology Marches On:
  • The scene where John and Lorraine first reach the Pigman relies on telephone technology that would be obsolete in the 21st century. Lorraine picks his number from a phone book and calls him from a landline. The Pigman would also catch onto their scam a lot quicker with Caller ID.
  • John's father locks the rotary dial on his family's phone. John puts airplane glue in the keyhole so that no one in the home can use it.
