• What Could Have Been: In the earlier letters, the authors dropped plenty of hints that it would be Elizabeth and Anthony that would divorce. They eventually have an Earn Your Happy Ending with them staying together. Instead, it was Michael and Deanna that divorced.
  • There were more letters planned for Meredith and at least one planned for Francoise, but they never came about.
• Word of God: It's usually handy to read the comments of each entry to get tidbits that might not have been portrayed clearly enough, or supplemental material that was not written about, such as Weed and Michael having a fling in college or Connie and Elly meeting at the school for wayward girls or Anthony having Asperger's.
