• Box Office Bomb: Budget: around $30 million. Box office: $26 million.
• Creator Killer: This was the final gasp of Disney's Hollywood Pictures, which was revived in 2006 but then quietly killed off again following this and other films' underperformances.
• Dawson Casting: Chatwin, age 25, and Levieva, age 27, as high school seniors.
• Deleted Role: Jack Donner as Morris, the old man who appears in one of the trailers and tells Nick about him being in limbo.
• He Also Did: Director David S. Goyer's biggest success has been co-writer of The Dark Knight Trilogy. According to Christopher Nolan, it's Goyer who mostly creates the story arc for the upcoming film, then Christopher and brother Jonathan write the screenplay based on that, although Goyer did co-write the script for Begins with Christopher. He also co-wrote Dark City and the Blade trilogy (and directed the panned third film) and created ABC's short-lived FlashForward (2009).
