• Author's Saving Throw: According to Banshee531, "Birthday Battle Blitz" was meant to address Grand and Script's feud because a misunderstanding with his editor, KingJoltik, caused him to view Grand as a villain. It also ultimately helped Script get Rescued from the Scrappy Heap by a majority of fans.
• B-Team Sequel:
  • The Forgotten Darkness is written by series editor KingJoltik rather than Banshee531.
  • Dragon’s Awakening is written by Joeyjambo122.
• Creative Differences:
  • Banshee531 and his editor KingJoltik have differing opinions on Grand Hoof. While Banshee531 has said that Grand Hoof is one of his favorite characters, he revealed in the author’s notes of the chapter "Retirement" that KingJoltik doesn’t like him.
  • Banshee531 and Joeyjambo122 had a minor disagreement over how dragons age in the fic. Banshee531 wanted to give them an average^note human lifespan while Joeyjambo122 wanted to do the traditional way and making their lifespans longer. Joeyjambo122 gave in, thus dragons have an average lifespan.
• Creator Backlash:
  • Going by his words at the author's note of "All's Fair in Love and War", Banshee531 thought the idea seemed a lot better in his head than the actual chapter and told the readers he's not gonna blame them for not liking the chapter.
  • Banshee531 admitted he had no idea of what to do with highly controversial Fame and Misfortune for Flash Sentry Season 7 and he's only adapt the chapter because he knew the readers would want to see his take on the episode and he apologizes for it.
  • Banshee531 admitted She Talks to Angel was very fillery.
• Creator's Favorite: Banshee531's favorite character is Flash Sentry, while KingJoltik is fond of Springer.
• Creator's Favorite Episode: To celebrate his 5th year anniversary of joining Fimfiction, Banshee531 posted a blog showing his and his editor KingJoltik personal top 10 favorite chapters from the series.
• Fandom Nod: In Pony Life, it’s speculated among fans that Discord gave Fluttershy the ability to shrink and grow. In "Fluttershy’s Marvelous Medicine", Discord does precisely that, giving her the ability to shrink and grow, after she finds out how useful it can be to help others.
• Hypothetical Casting: The Author Note in ''The Armoured King' chapter notes what voices several OC characters would have and by extension, what actors would voice them:
  • Shadow Corrupter: David Kaye
  • Fire Heart: Pierce Cravens
  • Shining Soul: Laurie Hymes
  • Tempera: Maryke Hendrikse
• Lying Creator: Banshee531 stated Shadow Corrupter is dead and Void is completely new character. And yet, in The Movie, Void turns out to be Shadow Corrupter.
• Schedule Slip: Banshee531 always updates on a weekly schedule, typically on Tuesdays, with the occasional Wednesday update. However, on August 31, 2019, for reasons that were not his fault, Banshee531 was banned from Fimfiction.net for two weeks, preventing the last chapter of The Knight of Friendship from being released until September 14, 2019.
• Shrug of God:
  • When Banshee531 was asked about if he was going to give his version of Equestria Girls a proper closure since they didn't get their closure like the main show did, his response was "I have no idea".
  • When Banshee531 was asked if Potion Nova was going to appear in the series, his answer was "I'm not sure yet".
  • Regarding adapting My Little Pony: Equestria Girls – Magical Movie Night for the series, he says "no idea".
  • Banshee531 was asked if he had known about Snap Shutter and Mane Allgood earlier before creating Trail Blazer and Misty Veil, would he have made them as Flash's parents instead and he said, "Not sure".
• Trolling Creator: Banshee531 stated he killed Flash off in Flash's Destiny because all true heroes make ultimate sacrifice, and claimed the series was officially over... Only for a new story, The Last Problem, to be released a few weeks later that brought Flash back. The author notes at the end of the story even begin with "GOTCHA!" and teasing readers for actually thinking he'd screw Flash out of his happy ending.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Foggy Dreadbeard was originally going to be the pirate who killed Tidal’s father, but Banshee531 changed his mind, as Iron Core already had a similar backstory with Longhorn. He eventually reworked that idea in Season 7 but with Muerojo as the one who killed Tidal's father.
  • Banshee531 says that originally, Cold was going to battle Wingill in "A Thief's Tale", but realized that then Soarin would not have any closure for his issues. So he changed the chapter to have Soarin replace Cold in the battle and give him more focus.
• Word of God:
  • Banshee531 has revealed the ages of numerous characters in the series.
  • Banshee531 said the last scene of "Flutter Brutter" takes place after the events of episodes like Spice Up Your Life, Stranger then Fanfiction, The Cart Before the Ponies and 28 Pranks Later.
  • Banshee531 confirmed Shadow Corrupter is dead when it was asked by one of the users if the mastermind is him. Turns out, this was a case of Lying Creator.
  • Banshee531 gives his take on how the Changelings managed to kidnapped the Mane Seven, Spike, Defenders, Royal Family and Royal Knights so easily: They pretended to be somepony else and knocked them out when they weren't looking.
  • In regards to a past version of Big Score that appears in Grand Hoof: The Legend Begins, Banshee531 specified that he was the grandfather of the modern day Big Score.
  • Banshee531 hinted the possibility of Thestrals regaining their sonic blast scream ability.
  • Banshee531 explains the lack of parents as well constantly going to different foster homes is the reasons that affected Cozy Glow's mental state.
  • Banshee531 confirmed Heart and Soul are not part of the Student Six group as they do their own things and Sandbar's the pony representative.
• Writing by the Seat of Your Pants: Banshee531 admitted that while he had loads of ideas for original chapters for Season 7, he was still trying to figuring out which of the canon chapters to do for Season 7 and asking the readers to help him figure out which of the Season 7 episodes to adapt for Flash Sentry, Defender of the Peace Season 7.
