- Acting for Two: A number of the actors play more than one role. Usually the extra roles are minor, one-shot characters, but sometimes they play more than one important role:
- Rob Lloyd plays both the Wizard and Tik-Tok.
- And Jennifer Alyx plays both Locasta and Billina.
- Descended Creator: Aron Toman, who adapted and wrote the scripts, also plays the Scarecrow.
- Fake American: Rob Lloyd, who is Australian, plays the Omaha-born Wizard of Oz.
- What Could Have Been: In the beginning, scriptwriter Aron Toman was going to be a lot more faithful to the original books. Back in 2001, he adapted the first two books in a far more "straightforward" fashion, and even recorded at least part of them, but the adaptations were never finished. Then, years later, he returned to the Chronicles of Oz and decided to do a more modernized take on the familiar story.
