- Creator Killer: For Seiichi Ishii. He had previously worked on the first Virtua Fighter game at Sega and then went onto create the Tekken series at Namco, before founding DreamFactory and creating the Tobal series for Squaresoft. The Bouncer was his first attempt at doing something outside of fighting games, and it ended up being the last game he directed for in wake of its critical and financial failure.
- Referenced by...: The game's sole legacy survives in the form of the Kingdom Hearts series, where Dog Street, the name of the alleyway where Fate is located, is named on Pence's shirt in Kingdom Hearts II.
- What Could Have Been: Additional stages and the ability to use Improvised Weapons were meant to be utilized in the game, but were cut shortly before release.
