  • Sumire in Persona 5 Royal had little to no interactions with the other Phantom Thieves besides Ren, with the game seemingly pushing her as a Designated Love Interest harder than other ships. Here, Sumire continues accepting the more platonic relationship she shares with Ren and develops a few particular interactions with Makoto and Futaba, alongside a decent rapport with Kenzo.
  • In canon, Sae Niijima was said to be stronger than Makoto at martial arts but was never shown to perform them. In Chapter 9, Sae's shown to hold her own on several Shadows without being a Persona-user. Furthermore, while it's merely implied Sae's relationship with Makoto was improving in the game, Chapter 33 shows Sae being wholly supportive of Makoto's relationship with Ren. She also encourages her while Makoto takes temporary command of the Phantom Thieves in Ren's absence, including approving some more explicit activities.
  • Earlier chapters had considerably focused on the Phantom Thieves more than the Shadow Operatives and the Investigation Team, much to the disappointment of fans of Persona 3 and 4. Later chapters give characters from both teams more spotlight, notably Minako, a Canon Foreigner from the PSP port of the former game.

    • The_Anonymous_User created Shen Kurata-Yang and Arisu Fukuda.
    • Man of Masks made Kai Shinigami.
    • Akio Fujita and Ryouto Yoshino were created by neonthesmart, alongside Sakiko, Trench, and Ayaka Tani.
  • Halfway to Tokyo With None of the Fare was written by neonthesmart and edited by Raptor.
  • A Friendship Revived, a spin-off fic, was written by hellothererizal and edited by Raptor.
• Schedule Slip: Starting around Chapter 30, Raptor has updated the fic at least once a month. Chapter 41 took a little more than that to get published due to complications in Raptor's real-life schedule.
• Word of God: Raptor tends to give out small amounts of information by responding to comments and talking on the Discord Server.
• Writing by the Seat of Your Pants: Initially in the first ten or so chapters, this fic was written with little planned out in advance. Raptorclaw initially stated he wanted to surprise himself as the fic progresses. However, shortly after the Discord server's creation, Raptor acknowledged some of the detriments the approach took and has taken a more organized approach ever since.
