• Limited Special Collector's Ultimate Edition: The Reliquary Edition comes in a special numbered box with a ton of Feelies.
• Sequel Gap: The previous The Bard's Tale came out all the way back in 1988, three full decades before Barrows Deep. This was the longest documented sequel gap at the time in the history of video games, dethroning the 28-year gap of previous recordholder Tapper World Tour, and holding that record until Getsu Fuma Den: Undying Moon released in 2022 with a 35-year gap.
