* ActorAllusion: For the ''LightNovel/{{Slayers}}'' crossover, ''Eternia's'' [[Creator/AkiraIshida Reid]] and ''Abyss''' [[Creator/YasunoriMatsumoto Guy]] respectively dress up as Xellos and Gourry.

* ScrewedByTheNetwork: Just being a mobile title and an entry to a niche series in the Western market already put the game at a disadvantage. The [[InvisibleAdvertising lack of advertising]] and [[CutAndPasteTranslation questionable translation]] didn't help much either. And thanks to the Japanese version, players also knew what would be released 4-6 months ahead of time so they knew what to save for. Ironically, the one change from the Japanese version that actually ''improved'' the game's quality of life (abandoning the lower tier gacha currency) ended up giving players LESS incentive to spend money on microtransactions.

The main antagonist as of Arc 4. The members consist of Tales series antagonist whenever their goal and objective are similiar enough to form a VillainTeamUp.

** Funnily enough, even their ''history'' goes into AlternateCompanyEquivalent territory, with both games being their companies' second mobile forays, which were closer gameplay-wise to their big-hardware cousins and thus better-received than their predecessors (''VideoGame/FinalFantasyAllTheBravest'' was ''heavily'' disliked for being not much more than a clicking simulator with some FF sprites attached; likewise, ''VideoGame/TalesOfLink'' was a dubious effort that didn't resemble the main games stylistically much at all and played very little like them).

* ActorAllusion:
** For the ''[[VideoGame/ValkyrieProfile Valkyrie Anatomia]]'' collaboration, [[VideoGame/TalesOfSymphonia Raine]] and [[VideoGame/TalesOfTheAbyss Jade]] are possessed by [[Creator/YumiTouma Lenneth]] and [[Creator/TakehitoKoyasu Lezard Valeth]], respectively. Both pairs share the same actors.
** Unintentional English examples with the ''LightNovel/SwordArtOnline'' collaboration:
*** [[Videogame/TalesOfVesperia Rita Mordio]] is given a Sinon costume. Both are voiced by Creator/MichelleRuff.
*** Kirito's sub-scenario primarily has him and [[VideoGame/TalesOfGraces Asbel]] talking about their siblings. If this had an English dub, it would be nothing but Creator/BrycePapenbrook TalkingToHimself.
* CastingGag: For the crossover with ''VideoGame/TheIdolmaster'', also a Creator/BandaiNamcoEntertainment franchise, Marta, Leia, Mileena and Collette have their own idol costumes; fittingly enough, the former three's respective voice actresses, Creator/RieKugimiya, Creator/SaoriHayami and Creator/HarukaTerui, also star in the other franchise as, respectively, Iori Minase (original series), Kaede Takagaki and Momoka Sakurai (''Cinderella Girls''), while the latter is a more direct nod to her voice actress Creator/NanaMizuki, herself an award-winning singer.
