  • Corpsing: Arin can't maintain a straight face while acting out the traitor's speech during the "Betrayal at House on the Hill" and everyone cracks up during the line "I can taste that beautiful man-meat now."
  • Meaningful Release Date: The Betrayal At House on the Hill episode was released on YouTube on Valentine's Day, which is the birthday of Markiplier's in-game character, Missy Dubourde.
  • Throw It In!: When Suzy first told Arin about her idea for the show, she meant to compare it to a Victorian dinner show, where Suzy and Barry would bring in a different guest every game. Arin then told Polaris that it would be Victorian themed, and it was greenlit it under the assumption that the show would be framed to actually take place in Victorian times. While Suzy and Barry were initially surprised by this, they decided to take the new spin on the concept and run with it.
  • The music that plays whenever Arin explains the rules of that episode's game is the "Maple Leaf Rag" by Scott Joplin.
  • Screwed by the Lawyers:
    • Nobody on the team was happy with the deal with Sling preventing fans outside of the US from watching. This was apparently due to their legal counsel not looking over the paperwork properly, and Suzy later revealed they fired Sling because of it.
    • This eventually effected the show due to it being jointly owned by both the Grumps and Polaris, which meant that the Grumps never got full creative control, which caused it to be the first Grumps show to be officially cancelled, due to the team refusing to keep working on it.
