Trivia / Super Dave

• The Cast Showoff: Bob Einstein played varsity basketball in high school and college, and once in a while Super Dave did basketball-related stunts where he got show off his dribbling and shooting skills.
• The Danza: Don Lake as Donald Glanz.
• He Also Did: Art Irizawa was a Toronto graphic designer who'd never acted before but was encouraged to audition for the role of Fuji Hakayito by a friend of his who was a talent agent.
• Produced by Cast Member: Bob Einstein executive produced all the Super Dave projects (as well as Bizarre).
• Production Posse:
  • In addition to Bob Einstein all of the various Super Dave productions also featured Art Irizawa, Don Lake & Mike Walden. ^note  The cartoon did not actually have Walden except in live action clips from the variety show; Lake was part of it, though he didn't play Donald, but did additional voices instead.
  • Lots of people that Einstein had worked with previously as a writer and producer showed up as guests on Super Dave, like The Smothers Brothers, Sonny Bono, Glen Campbell and John Byner.
  • Ray Charles made three Special Guest appearances (including the first episode), a brief cameo in a fourth episode, and later appeared in The Extreme Adventures Of Super Dave.
