• Star-Making Role:
  • Majo Sensei was the series that pushed Yoko Kiku into prominence.
  • It was also the series that led to Shōzō Iizuka getting recognized by Toru Hirayama, who was impressed with the way he played Kumondes, leading to a long career of voicing Toku villains.
• What Could Have Been: Although it was always planned to end with 26 episodes, the producers considering extending its run into a new plotline which would have had Hikaru doing battle against an underground creature hunting humans. Some of these concepts would be reworked into the television series for Chojin Barom 1, which premiered right after Majo Sensei ended.
