- Dawson Casting:
- 21 year old Sterling Knight playing 17 year old Christopher Wilde. This may be why Christopher and Jessica never actually kissed as Danielle Campbell was only 14 at the time.
- Chelsea Kane, who's the same age as Knight.
- Non-Singing Voice: That's not Sterling Knight singing. However, Brandon Smith does his own raps. Sterling does sing the title song, but none of the others, due to him joining the movie too late to get into the studio for all of them.
