• The Nth Doctor: Keith David replaces Jeffrey Tambor (who was caught up in a sexual harassment case) as the voice of Glossaryck in this episode. Lampshaded when, after Glossaryck reveals he's still able to talk, Star asks "Is his voice different?"
• What Could Have Been: The fourth season wasn’t yet picked up by Disney. Daron Nefcy said that the Cliffhanger ending as written out of cockiness, and if they didn’t pick it up, she would’ve argued for one more half-hour episode to wrap things up.
