• Word of God: Ron Moore has admitted he simply wasn't interested in writing the scene he had in mind where Kurn grants permission for the mindwipe, and assumed the audience would understand it had happened, but realized he definitely should have put it in when just about everyone was outraged that it was apparently done without Kurn's consent.
