- The late Daisuke Gōri had voiced Gamof, Gantetsu, and Bilstein.
- Kappah and Saturn were voiced by Kazumi Tanaka.
- Both Hisao Egawa and Isshin Chiba had voiced Gerelt, Zelkin, Omega, and Eagle.
- Nobutoshi Canna had voiced Hayato and Blood.
- The second game have both instances of this trope:
- June and Ele are voiced by Yukari Tamura. Given that both characters are mother and daughter respectively...
- Wataru Takagi had voiced Gore, Blood, Shaker, Byakko, and Rai-on.
- Both Prince and Saturn were voiced by Katsuya Shiga.
- With the exception of June and Ele (see above), Michiko Neya voices the other females of the game.
- Divorced Installment: Originally, Star Gladiator started as a collaboration effort with LucasArts for a Star Wars Fighting Game, but as they were making Star Wars: Masters of Teräs Käsi, Capcom decided to make their own 3D space and Star Wars-esque fighter.
- Dummied Out: The first game featured a few unused models for combatants, the most of amusing of these being a MS-09B Dom.
- What Could Have Been: As previously mentioned, Star Gladiator was supposed Star Wars fighting game until LucasArts decided otherwise.
- There was talk at one point about a spinoff anime series featuring Hayato.
