Trivia / Sonic Legacy (FNF)

Go To

  • Content Leak: One leak for the mod revealed that a Sonic Villains song was planned for Sonic Legacy, known as "Intermission", but with no hint as to who was meant to be the opponent in the song.
  • #EngineeredHashtag: For Twitter, posts related to this mod are encouraged to be tagged with "#bejeweledjermagif".
  • Role Reprise:
    • Landy/LandyRS, who had done voice-work for other Sonic-based fanworks like Sonic Villains, Adrenaline Dubs and Sonic Forces Overclocked, reprises his Sonic role for this mod during "Free-4-Me / Obituary". The singing voice, however, was Sturm's mixed with an AI voice replica made by Landy, due to Landy not really liking his own singing voice.
    • Sturm / churgney gurgney, MarStarBro and Madzilla are amongst those also working with this mod's development, each having worked on the original Vs Sonic.exe at some point in the past.
  • Staff-Created Fan Work: Disconnected from the mod itself, lyrical covers of 2Torial, Obituary, and Subterfuge were produced and written by the mod's staff.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • Originally the mod would have featured Xenophanes with his song "Facade", as well as a remake of "Triple Trouble", but he was quickly replaced by 2017X following ASTRANOMICONX requesting for him to be removed.
    • Mania (a scrapped song from Vs Sonic.exe for SH Tails) was also planned, but got turned down for reasons still unknown.
    • Following Hanabi / AzuriParker leaving the team, "Found You" (which was originally slated for Obituary) was remade by Churgney. Comparing the two versions side by side, Obituary sounds nothing like Found You; the entirety of the first section is redone with lyrics, the third and fourth segments are slowed down (with the fourth segment being slightly faster than the third), and there's a huge difference in the final stretch, which makes it stand out from the final Obituary. Hanabi also made a song for the Blue Pendrive incarnation of Sonic entitled "Deferment", alongside a song based on Sonic Villains dubbed "Intermission", both of which were scrapped following Hanabi's departure.
