• Creator Backlash: In the notes for Episode 3, the writer expressed some negativity towards the series. He stated that it took him a long time to find the motivation to write a resolution for the season, and that he was worried that the series might be "too stupid." However, he also said that once he got into the flow of writing the series, it was fun to work on.
• Creator's Favorite: In the notes for Episode 3, the writer said his favorite character that he came up with for the series was Chroma the Cuttlefish, and he would like to use Chroma for more serious fanfics someday. Chroma is also the first, and so far, only character from the series to get official artwork by the writer.
• What Could Have Been: Some original ideas for the series were shared in the notes for episode 1:
  • In episode 1, the two movies featured were originally supposed to be Barbie (2023) and Oppenheimer, as a reference to the "Barbenheimer" craze. However, this was changed because the writer couldn't upload the episode until four days after the two movies came out on July 21st (because Archive of Our Own makes new users wait a couple weeks before they can access the website). The fic was supposed to feature made-up scenes from the two movies (Barbie fights Thanos, and Oppenheimer does the Fortnite Default Dance), but the writer felt that the idea of made-up scenes in real movies wouldn't have been nearly as funny once the movies had already come out, and people already knew what actually happens in the movies.
  • The entire series was originally going to be a lot more Stylistic Suck-based, and chock-full of intentional misspellings. This was changed to make it more readable, and because the writer wanted to try and put a little genuine effort into it.
  • Originally, the Big Bad was going to be Sonic.exe himself, but his personality would be changed to have more Cartoonish Supervillainy. Then, the writer almost made him a .exe version of Big the Cat, before settling on a .exe version of Rotor Walrus instead due to Rotor being a little lesser-known than Big.
