• What Could Have Been: Hotsuma's Scarf of Asskicking was originally much smaller and shorter until one of the developers made it super-long as a joke. It looked awesome, so they left it in.
  • The PS2 Shinobi was originally planned as a Dreamcast game, but the intended platform changed due to Sega's abrupt departure from the hardware race.
