Trivia / Series 7: The Contenders

• Follow the Leader: The film earned some brief notoriety by coming out in the aftermath of The Blair Witch Project and Battle Royale, which made Found Footage Films and Deadly Game films very in.
• One-Book Author: This is Daniel Minihan's only feature film directing credit to date, but he's stayed busy directing episodes of many cable-TV series. The closest he's come is directing the Deadwood reunion TV film, which is basically a glorified television episode. However, he will soon come out of that One Book Author status as he is currently directing his second feature film On Swift Horses.
