• Romance on the Set: Writer-director Andrew Niccol fell in love with Rachel Roberts on the set of S1m0ne and married her, the couple later having two children. In the film, the director played by Al Pacino becomes obsessed with the synthetic eponymous actress, played by Roberts.
• Uncredited Role: Rachel Roberts was not credited during the theatrical run and the character of Simone was credited "As Herself". Home media releases gave Roberts an "Introducing" credit. Elias Koteas is not credited in any release of the film despite his small but crucial role as Hank Aleno.
