- Bad Export for You: The NES version of the game replaced several tracks from the Famicom version, and comes worse off. In particular, the Palace of Dorago BGM stands out (in a bad way) for being nothing but a four-note loop which gets repetitive very quickly, as opposed to the more developed and sophisticated melody of the Famicom version.
- Furthermore, the PAL NES version introduced a bug thanks to a programming error, which gives the player lower stats for health and damage, and a maximum health of 8 instead of 12, thus drastically increased the difficulty of the final level.
