• Cast the Expert: He appeared in The Wrestler, playing himself.
• Real Life Writes the Plot:
  • Awesome Truth was split up after R-Truth was hit with a Wellness Policy violation, which was played out with The Miz deciding that Truth had outlived his usefulness. Obviously, upon his return, R-Truth would be looking for revenge, which meant one of the hottest heels in the company had to do a Heel–Face Turn in order to align himself against The Miz.
  • Due to several stints in prison in his youth for drug trafficking, Truth was Persona Non Grata in Canada for a while, and got deported on at least a couple of occasions when he tried to travel to Toronto with WWE and Impact, forcing them to change show plans. His ban was eventually relaxed, and Truth began making appearances in Canada later in the 2010s.
• Romance on the Set: He used to date Jacqueline.
• The Cast Showoff: His rapping, such as when he dressed down Ryback on SmackDown.
