The shows creator, Director X took to social media and accused online critics of having rating-bombed the series due to racism and misogyny, this attitude did not win many people over and he was generally mocked for it.
• Similarly Named Works: Robyn Hood is the title for both a comic book and the TV series itself, which have nothing in common bar being both inspired by the Robin Hood folk tale.
