The result of tv room's songs being added to the game.
  • Colbert Bump: Every time spotco has collaborated with other artists, when their songs are in the game, the artist's popularity goes up by a lot, as seen in tv room's tweet.
  • Dummied Out: Most submitted map files have a background image if you play it within osu!mania. Mappers often make a joke image to use as their background, knowing that once the map gets imported into RoBeats, the background gets left behind.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Once a map from the public Trello board is considered "Accepted," the .osznote  is gone. If you want to play a song before it's released in-game, then you have to download all the map submissions for that song. This method will not work on maps that have been produced internally. If you want to have the file (to play in osu!mania) after the fact, you have to either ask around, which given the stance on stolen maps, will not be an easy feat (plus this decreases the value of only a few people having a specific map); or remap the entire song by getting the mp3 from Trello and have a video of someone playing said song (preferably in 60fps). Even then, those people often won't share their remapped versions of accepted maps for the same reasons that legitimate maps can't.
    • On June 10, 2021, spotco deleted the RoBeats Map Archive in response to a Roblox lawsuit going on at the time. Most of the songs from that archive are now considered lost media.
  • Milestone Celebration: When the game hit 320,000 likes, the song shop gave out four VIP songs in normal and hard difficulties. note

  • Official Fan-Submitted Content: People of the community can request songs to be added into the game. If it gets enough votes to be noticeable, then the developers will add that song to the mapping board, which then people can submit maps they made for your song.
  • Screwed by the Lawyers: spotco has collaborated with many artists so he can replace the copyrighted songs with the artists', which takes many months to complete. On April 9th, 2021, "SolarOrbit -Connected with the Espabrother-" was removed because of complaints by the artist, "Apo11o"FIXEDSTAR"program." spotco, in response, quickly replaced the offending song with a clone of Kyouki Ranbu. Many people reported the duplicate song 'bug' until the clone was replaced by the song "Engima" eight days later.
    • On June 10, 2021, spotco released an emergency update because Roblox was facing a lawsuit about copyrighted music at the time. A total of 12 songs got replaced, with 2 copies of Internet Boy, 3 of Machina, 2 of Hot, 2 of Sprite, and 3 copies of Color being put into the game temporarily.
  • What Could Have Been: spotco has uploaded various song audios to Roblox in the past that didn't make it in the game. You can find a list of them here.
    • There's a number of things that changed since the pre-alpha version.
      • The crowd that makes up the background used to be fully 3-D. It was changed to a simpler 2-D crowd so that there would be less lag.
      • The judgement text changed from a pixellated style to the one we have today.

Other Useless Bits of Trivia

  • People who map songs use another rhythm game called 'osu!,' which conveniently happens to have a 4-key mode. The mappers have their own section in the Discord where they can show maps, make suggestions, and talk about mapping in general.

  • The top server on the server list (which can be found by clicking on the "Servers" button below the description), is unofficially called the Top Server. People go there because there is a lot of marketplace activity. You can find people selling materials for cheap—if you are willing to look for it—and rare, expensive Fever Icons that cost tens of thousands of coins. There are also many people willing to trade with you if you don't want to spend the marketplace fee to sell an item.

  • The leaderboard building has an elevator in the center. Above it there is a hollow dome-shaped arena, where every RoBeats match takes place; the official art confirms it to be so. When the RB Battles event took place, if you followed the steps to get the sword, you could actually go up that elevator and see the arena for yourself.

  • There are several recreations of RoBeats songs in community servers. Most of the recreations themselves are poor in quality, with some problems being that the notes are not matching up with the song, and there might be a note or two that's been misplaced.

  • Have you ever hit a note, then miss instantly after? This is a result of your keyboard "ghost tapping" the note. This is because most common keyboards have a tendency to double-tap if you tap a key too lightly and quickly. Keyboards ghost tapping on their own doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's infuriating and out of your control.

  • When interacting with an NPC, if they didn't put anything as their message, they will say one of these lines instead:
    • "I couldn't think of a message so here I am!"
    • "Rather be playing SDVX..."
    • "Rather be playing Rhythm Track..."
    • "give stars pls"
    • "Insight is the best map"

  • Most of the character's names start with what department of RoBeats they work at. Case in point:
    • Lisa = Leaderboards
    • Marsha = Marketplace
    • Teresa = Teams
    • Roxie = Robux Shop
    • Mattie and Marie = Music Shop

  • The pros recommend using a third-party FPS unlocker to make your in-game performance better and reduce latency.

  • The audio sample of someone saying "Somebody scream!" is used in five songs: Galaxy Collapse, Chroma Heavenly Mashup, SOUL EXPLOSION, Insight (Egg Yolk Remix), and Rebound.

  • The minimum percentage for getting roulette rewards is 35%. note

  • If you press the PageUp button then a debug message will show in the chat.
    • From August 14, 2021 to the 18th, if you pressed PageDown or Delete in the lobby then it acted similarly to setting the lobby display to low.

  • The ending of Bad Apple (Normal) does not use the fourth lane.

  • Window Cleaner (Hard) and both difficulties of Speedrun are the only maps that have no long notes.

  • On August 15, 2021, while the 320k likes event was going on, there was two normal versions of the VIP songs instead of one normal and one hard. People who bought them before it was fixed missed the hard version because it showed as though they had bought the hard version, when really, they didn't get it. People thought they permanently missed the hard version, until an announcement said that they could get it the next day, with no bug.

  • August 15 was also the day spotco officially announced there will be no more replacing songs.

  • Chroma Heavenly Mashup is the only song where the creators ARE the mappers.

  • The Friday Night Funkin' songs originally had the game's name at the end of each title.

  • There exists an "anti-accuracy" gear in this game that brings down your milliseconds by 4.

  • Leaderboard songs always become missions throughout the week.

  • For a few hours, ELINE had an overlapping note 36 seconds in the map.
