• No Export for You: For a while, it looked like this for the light novels. J-Novel Club attempted to license the series in 2018 but was rebuffed for undisclosed reasons by the Japanese publisher. Due to demand, a fan translator began work on the light novels and managed to finish up to Volume 4's first chapter by February 2019, but the translation work stalled after that as he began devoting his attention to translating the series' manga adaptation and several drama CDs instead. At Anime Expo 2019 in July, Yen Press announced their acquisition of the license to begin publishing in English in 2020. The day of the announcement, the fan translator posted an update that he was ceasing work on the light novels and would only translate extra material that would not be licensed, such as short stories and bonuses released with the Japanese physical disc releases.
