• Colbert Bump: After the gang was prominently featured in Wreck-It Ralph.
• Dummied Out: None of the ZX Spectrum ports had the safe-to-touch NPCs, as it would not have been feasible to colour them green.^note It might have been possible, but only by precise interrupt-driven attribute switching in sync with the TV scan, which would probably have slowed down the game too much.. With the exception of Pogo, most of them did not have Ugg or Wrong-Way either.
• Port Overdosed: Like Frogger, Q*Bert's simple design makes it easy to port to any platform. Just check out the picture for The Great Video Game Crash of 1983.
• Working Title: The game was originally going to be called "@!#?@!" (which is what's on the original marquee), but was changed because it's impossible to pronounce.
