• Actor Allusion: Two of Schezo's collaboration alts, Pegasus Schezo and Schezo & Black Tiger ver. T&B2, are references to Masakazu Morita's roles as Pegasus Seiya and Barnaby Brooks Jr. respectively.
• Milestone Celebration: The "Super Puyo Puyo Quest" Retool in version 10.0. was done to commemorate the franchise's 30th anniversary, effectively giving Pwurp Island its own ARS Trio, Atari, Roquier and Seo, and a much more fleshed-out plot.
• No Export for You: In spite of the Puyo Puyo series' late-bloom success in the West, this game remains a Japan-exclusive. The closest the series has gotten to a Western release was a Dolled-Up Installment called Cranky Food Friends, which saw the Puyo Puyo elements get replaced by food. However, due to poor reception from fans, Sega would delist the game a few months later.
