- Screwed by the Network — The rights to this game and all related assets are owned by Capcom. This means that Cave cannot make any updates, re-releases, ports, or otherwise.
- This seems to be a trend of the whole 'Capcom partnership with shmup companies' project, as Dimahoo and 1944: The Loop Master suffered a similar fate. Takumi and Psikyo are exceptions to this rule, as both of Takumi's Capcom-published games, Giga Wing and Mars Matrix, and Psiyko's Cannon Spike were later ported to the Sega Dreamcast. In addition, the Dreamcast port of Psikyo's Gunbird 2 has Morrigan as a secret character.
- It has finally been averted in 2021 due to the release of Capcom Arcade Stadium, which contains 1944, Giga Wing, and Progear. It also appeared on the Capcom Home Arcade dedicated console.
