- Outdated by Canon: The first chapter of the series was written in 2016, and portrays Captain Rex as being on Coruscant during Order 66. The seventh season of The Clone Wars, released in 2020, would place him on a return trip from Mandalore.
- What Could Have Been: Word of God states that the original draft for the final chapter of the first story has Palpatine's musing be the ending scene while Anakin and Padmé's comms communication take place earlier in the chapter, but choose to switch them due to wanting to end it on a high note.
- Working Title: Word of God is that the fic's is "The One Where Anakin Doesn't Fall [Except Literally]" while discussing Anakin's mental state post averted Face–Heel Turn.
