• Creator's Favorite Episode: For obvious reasons, Ash's long-time English VA Sarah Natochenny has stated this as one of her most favorite episodes.
• Posthumous Credit: The late Unshō Ishizuka reprised his roles as Kingler, Muk, Swellow and Boldore during Pikachu's vision via Stock Sound Effects and is credited in the CBB.
