- Acclaimed Flop: The game was rather warmly received, sometimes compared to an improved Phantasy Star Online 2, but it wasn't very popular, selling over 100,000 copies on launch week then sharply dropping off afterwards. This in face of the fact that there was a substantial marketing campaign backing it.
- Dummied Out: Some of the Passwords don't work in non-Japanese versions of the game, preventing you from acquiring a few special Partners.
- Fan Translation: The game has a translation patch by ARKS Layer, the same team that handles the Phantasy Star Online 2 fan translation.The patch covers all of the required text needed to play, as well as a majority of the main story and side content.
- No Export for You: Good luck finding this game outside of Asian territories.
