Trivia / Paul Revere and the Raiders

• Dueling Works: The Raiders and The Kingsmen were both popular bands in the Portland, Oregon area in 1963, and they both recorded and released versions of Richard Berry's "Louie Louie" around the same time. The Kingsmen had the big national hit, but the Raiders' version was more popular on the West Coast.
• He Also Did: Besides his successful Country Music career, Freddy Weller also co-wrote Tommy Roe's #1 hit "Dizzy".
