• Serendipity Writes the Plot: Since none of the actors who play the married characters are couples living together in real life, the show gives a bunch of explanations as to why they're all in different rooms (i.e. Andy accidentally locked himself in his and April's wood shed). Meanwhile, since Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally are an actual married couple, they were able to have the bit where Tammy-2 breaks into Ron's cabin.
• Voices in One Room: Averted. The cast actually recorded every single one of their parts separately and only reacted to the writers and directors reading the other characters' parts.
