• Missing Episode: Despite being measured a success by critical acclaim and ratings, a second series was not commissioned and Thames Television destroyed the majority of copies in the 1960s, leaving only four records of the fourteen episodes to survive.
  • "Dumb Martian" survived as a script copy.
  • "Little Lost Robot" survived intact, and is the primary selling point for the DVD re-release.
  • Episodes "Cold Equations" and "Impostor" survived as soundtracks from a fan's home-made recording.
