• Acting for Two: David Jason got to play mafia boss Vincenzo "Vinny the Chain" Occhetti as well as Del.
• Creator's Favorite Episode: This was David Jason's, the reason being that he got to play two characters in it.
• Edited for Syndication: While the original Christmas Day 1991 broadcast was 95 minutes long, it was edited down to 85 minutes for subsequent repeats (presumably because this made it easier to schedule). For the 1998 VHS release (and some subsequent DVD releases), this episode has been merged with the first part to form one long episode, entitled "Miami Twice: The Movie", which contains a laughter track for the whole thing (originally, only the first part had one) and all of the originally broadcast material minus the final scene of Del and Rodney at the airport in the first part, which segued into the closing credits.
• Promoted Fanboy: According to David Jason, Barry Gibb was a big fan of the show and used to get tapes of it sent to America. In this episode, he briefly appears As Himself.
