Umaru-chan, and Kikuko Inoue, their go-to actress for mother characters.
• Stunt Casting: Legendary voice actress Kikuko Inoue — who, in the director's past works, typically plays some kind of deranged mother figure — here plays a diminutive stuffed bear that only communicates via Pokémon Speak.
