• Creative Differences: Why Jeremy Carroll was thrown out, as relations with him had grown so bad that if he didn't go, they probably would have broken up. Subverted with Andrew Mikhail, as he was mostly just burned out, and also subverted with Devin Shidaker, as their touring had slowed down and he just needed to be able to make more money.
• Development Hell: Adam has confirmed via Instagram that Oceano is writing a follow up to Revelation, it's just taking awhile. The reason for the delay was due to heavy touring in support of Revelation, the band taking a more deliberate approach to song writing, and real life stuff getting in the way.
• Promoted Fanboy: Matt Kohanowski was a huge fan of the band who counted them as a major musical influence well before he joined.
• Screwed by the Network: It's frankly a miracle that they survived their time on Earache. The label absolutely bled them dry, and they toured almost nonstop for years with virtually nothing to show for it, which was almost certainly a major factor in their rapid turnover early on. Even after signing to Sumerian, they are still feeling the aftereffects of their time on Earache, as they currently do not have the rights to their back catalog.
• What Could Have Been: Travis Ryan's parts on Soulfly's "World Scum" were originally supposed to be done by Adam, but for unknown reasons he didn't make it on.
