- Enforced Method Acting: Obi-Wan's shock and horror at seeing Vader is in part Ewan McGregor's own fear at seeing Hayden Christenson in full armor. Seeing his friend of many years transformed into a horrifying presence was just that much, amplified by Christenson's performance as a full-on, rage-fueled Lord of the Sith.
